Mike Strating (PhD, University of Windsor) is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Redeemer University in Ancaster, Ontario, Canada. He specializes in abnormal psychology, counseling, the psychology of spirituality, and positive psychology. With a strong foundation in both academia and clinical practice, Dr. Strating is committed to advancing Christian theories and methods of counseling to equip the church in its mission to “speak the truth in love” (Eph. 4:15).

Dr. Strating’s research explores psychospiritual change processes in psychotherapy, with a particular focus on the roles of the heart, emotion, and spiritual practices in counseling. His notable contributions include:
